On June 7, 2025, Niagara Nepali Samaj (NNS) hosted a well-attended screening of the Nepali film ‘Oonko Sweater’ at Cineplex Niagara Falls, bringing together families from the Nepali community in Niagara region and surrounding. Set in a remote mountain village, the film touched audiences with its heartfelt portrayal of love, struggle, and destiny, earning acclaim for its soulful music, breathtaking scenery, and powerful performances by Bipin Karki and Miruna Magar.
