To our beloved community members, friends, and well-wishers,

This is to notify that Niagara Nepali Samaj announces the cancellation of our Dashain Celebration Program, which was planned for Saturday, September 27, 2025.

This decision has been made after careful consideration of the current situation in Nepal. During this period of national difficulty and mourning, we believe it is our duty to stand in solidarity with our compatriots back home. Celebrating any festival at such a situation would be contrary to the spirit of humanity, unity and compassion that defines our community.

Dashain is a festival that symbolizes the victory of good over evil and the importance of family and community ties. Right now, our greatest duty is to channel that spirit into supporting and praying for the well-being of our nation and its people.

We pray for the peace, resilience, and swift recovery of Nepal. We look forward to gathering to celebrate our rich culture and traditions when the situation is more appropriate.
