The Executive Board of Niagara Nepali Samaj (NNS) recently held an in-person Board of Directors (BOD) meeting to discuss preparations for the organization’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) and to outline strategic plans for the year ahead. The meeting brought together board members in a collaborative setting to review key priorities, strengthen organizational direction, and enhance community engagement. One of the major decisions made during the meeting was to schedule the NNS Annual General Meeting for April 11, 2026. The AGM will serve as an important platform to review the organization’s progress, present financial and operational reports, and engage members in discussions about future initiatives and leadership.

In addition to AGM planning, the board finalized a preliminary calendar of events for the upcoming year. These events aim to celebrate Nepali culture, strengthen community bonds, and encourage participation across all age groups. Planned activities include cultural programs, sports events, and community gatherings designed for seniors, youth, and children, ensuring inclusive engagement within the Nepali community in the Niagara region. Board members also shared valuable ideas and perspectives on improving the effectiveness and reach of NNS activities.
